Kitchen Extention West Hampstead

This was both a kitchen side return and a rear kitchen extension in an l shape.

The customer in this instance wanted to go for the velux windows as opposed to glasing as there are exposed to a lot of sunlight and didn’t want the kitchen to get too hot.

Once again our customer liked the idea of a folding sliding doors to the rear to open up the inside outside space.

This has made the place at lot warmer due to the added insulation over what was there before making this a very cosy family area.

We also added a downstairs w/c and a utility area making it yet again more attuned to the needs of family life. Of course all of the usual installations were required in terms of fire doors, smoke alarms and heat sensors

Kitchen extension Chiswick

Two examples of kitchen extensions that we have done in this area are quite different. The first was relatively simple kitchen extension to the side return area to give lateral space to the pokey kitchen to make it into a useful kitchen/ dining area. 

We once again installed water based under floor heating and replaced all the windows. On this occasion the client quite liked the idea of a bespoke kitchen so we made one to their exact requirements. This included a composite stone worktop, fitted appliances and glass splashbacks. 

The other major project was a very well designed rear kitchen extension connected only by a small section of glasing allowing a real sense of the old and the new. 

This afforded much more space for the kitchen area to accommodate an island kitchen. The client really splashed out on the perfect kitchen which looks amasing. The customer chose here to go for some huge sliding doors that were imported from Germany. The flooring was also imported from italy in huge format tiles with water based under floor heating.
